Made in the USA. Our oak Toy Box
is made entirely of wood (aside from the hardware).
No MDF or particle board. Solid wood is used for the
corner posts. Oak veneered panels are trimmed with
solid oak edge banding. Under the oak veneer is
furniture grade veneer core. Finished in a warm oak
stain with a clear satin topcoat.
There are two lid supports which are positioned in
the center of the toy box. The toy box lid does not
slam down when lifted up. Whatever the lid position,
it does NOT drop. The hinges and lid supports have a
lifetime guarantee. If they break for any reason
they will be replaced at no charge.
We can add a solid cedar
base in the bottom of the toy box for
$40. The cedar we use is aromatic "eastern" cedar.
Cedar not only has a functional purpose but also
adds style to the classic oak box.
The outside dimensions of
the toybox are 40"L x 21" W x 20" H. The inside
dimensions are 36"L x 18 1/2"W x 17"H. Assembly
requires a regular and Phillips screwdriver and only
about 15 minutes of your time. We include easy to
read instructions with photos. This toy chest is
custom made -- please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.
